The mission is to establish standards and advocate for occupational therapy on behalf of its members, the profession, and the general public to improve occupational therapy practice, education, and research.

The mission is to promote awareness of the profession and involvement in local community programs.

A merit scholarship is granted by the Scholarship Review Committee, which evaluates each student's high school transcript and class rank. 

I graduated from Sacred Heart University as an undergrad with a 3.8 cumulative GPA.
